"At the
beginning of the year I had a whole slew of routine bloodwork done
with my new doctor. She called me shortly after my visit to inform
me that I had high cholesterol. My levels were at 254... she wanted
me well below 200. She asked me to schedule another appointment
in 6 months and said we needed to keep a close eye on it. We talked
a bit about my diet (which has always been pretty good) andexercise.
At the time of my visit, I was taking a three-mile walk almost everyday.
As much as I love walking, I was anxious to get into Bikram... Come
March, I finally found your wonderful studio. And as the months passed
I fell in love with your classes. Six months passed and it was time
to have more bloodwork done... I got a call from my doctor at work
today and she was extremely pleased with the results. 187!!! She
told me that she has never seen anyone drop levels so much in such
a short period of time. I just wanted to THANK you for your wonderful
studio... I believe it has everything to do with Bikram." - Tarah
"What
is the best way to describe Bikram Yoga? Life changing. It is
one of the most challenging physical workouts I have ever tried. It
is truly a blending of mind and body. I feel better and my body has
responded so positively to Yoga that I am slowly sculpting a new person.
In my day to day activities, I am pleasantly reminded of Yoga and
what I am learning: breathing! I would like to commend Naomi and Bikram
Yoga Marietta for making each one of my practices so meaningful. Naomi's
commitment to Yoga and people shines brightly each time I am around
her. Many thanks, Naomi. I look forward to years of sharing."

"I
have had back problems for the past 10 years and was constantly
taking Advil or going to the chiropractor to get back in alignmnet.
Now that I've been doing Bikram yoga, I have much less pain, my back
is out of whack much less often, and my chiropractor is very pleased
with my improvement. (An added bonus is that my muscles have more
defition - just in time for swinsuit season.) Thanks, Bikram Yoga."

"For
the past couple of years I've been waking at night with back pain.
The pain would go away once I was up and moving around. My doctor
suspected arthritis and recommended over-the-counter pain medication
at dinner time. This helped for a while, but I didn't like the idea
of taking these medications long term. I started Bikram yoga only
about six weeks ago. I had been practicing yoga on my own for several
years, but had not experienced hot yoga before. After about 10 classes,
the nightly back pain was gone. I believe Bikram really is a 'healing'
practice."
