Bikram Yoga has so many benefits, and is of course very beneficial to the health of the spine, joints and nervous system. There are however always some spinal or structural misalignments that the body cannot self correct. Dr. Bauer uses a structural correction technique that finds and corrects these problem areas that don't go away on their own. The result is greater flexibility, better posture, deeper breathing, and improved energy. Dr. Bauer also uses visceral manipulation when needed, for conditions such as Hiatal Hernia, which causes acid reflux, reduced lung capacity and other symptoms, and can sometimes be aggravated by certain yoga postures.
